Accessibility Transformation with Level Driveway & Garden

Project Overview

This Bradley property presented significant accessibility challenges for the homeowner who was not good on their feet. The property had multiple different levels, making it difficult to enter and move around safely. The driveway entrance was narrow and awkward, with limited parking space.

The Challenges

The existing property had several problems that made daily life difficult for the customer. Multiple levels throughout the property created trip hazards and made movement challenging. The entrance was thin and difficult to navigate, and there was barely space for one car. Poor drainage added to the problems.

Our Solution

We took on a complete transformation of the property. We tore everything up and started fresh, putting the entire property on one level to eliminate trip hazards and improve accessibility. The front wall was removed to open up the entrance from a difficult narrow access point into a beautiful, easy-to-access driveway.

The Transformation

The new block paving driveway features an attractive herringbone pattern with a contrasting buff-coloured border, creating a premium finish. The driveway extends around to the back of the property with matching block paving paths. New fencing was installed throughout for privacy and security.

In the back garden, we installed a beautiful artificial lawn surrounded by block paving paths with gravel borders for drainage. This creates a low-maintenance outdoor space that is completely accessible and level.

The Result

The customer now has a fully accessible property that is safe and easy to navigate. The spacious 9-metre wide driveway can accommodate 3-4 vehicles with ease, and the level surfaces throughout mean no more struggling with steps or uneven ground. This transformation has made a real difference to the customers quality of life.
