Anthracite Grey Resin Bound Driveway for New Build

Project Overview

The owner of this beautiful new build property in Leek wanted a driveway that would match the high specification of their home. The property had been built without a professional driveway finish, and the customer wanted to bring the exterior up to the same standard as the stunning modern house.

The Challenge

The customer had a very specific vision - they wanted an anthracite grey resin bound finish that would perfectly complement the grey tones of their property, from the roof tiles to the window frames and garage door. Finding the exact shade proved difficult, and the customer had struggled to source the right colour blend.

Our Solution

Through our partnership with Daltex, one of the UKs leading resin bound suppliers, we were able to source the exact anthracite grey blend the customer was looking for. This UV-stable resin ensures the colour wont fade over time, maintaining that perfect match with the property for years to come.

The Installation

The customer had completed all their own groundwork preparation, which helped reduce the overall project cost. We then laid a 10-14mm open grid tarmac base, which provides excellent drainage and a stable foundation for the resin bound surface.

The Daltex resin bound finish was then professionally applied, creating a seamless, smooth surface across the entire driveway area. The anthracite grey colour creates a sophisticated, modern look that ties the whole property together.
